Single-cru bottling of Fiano obtained from the Tognano vineyard situated in Lapio, regarded as Fiano's "grand cru" site. Citrus, white fruit, aromatic herbs, with a lightly toasted note and hints of hydrocarbons which become more evident with age. Only ~3,000 bottles annually.
Rich, savoury and concentrated with great persistence, balanced out by lively acidity and rounding off on a smoky note. Excellent 'gastronomic' wine - pair with savoury foods (butter-based dishes, cream-based pastas, aged cheeses).
